Mission Statement

We the Infant Jesus Sisters, are dedicated to the growth and development of people especially women and children. Children occupy a central place in the teachings of Jesus, who pointed to the child as the ultimate symbol of the Kingdom of God. “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14). In partnership with others who share the same values; we work to promote human dignity, equality and acceptance of each person, respecting the richness and diversity of peoples’ lives. We believe that children and young people have a right to be listened, to be heard and to be protected from physical harm, deprivation disadvantage. For entry into secondary school in Nicolas Barre College, these are the general requirements that prospective students must consider.
These include:
Each candidate must purchase an application form and provide all the requisite information accurately.
Candidates seeking admission must complete Primary six education.
Potential students will have to take an assessment or entrance exam conducted by the school and pass.
Intending students must be medically and physically fit. Therefore, all the test listed on the medical history certificate must be conducted.
Parents/Guardians of the candidates must express willingness to cooperate with the school authority in the maintenance of discipline with respect to a child’s upbringing by signing the parent’s declaration form.
All successful candidates are expected to accept the admission offered by collecting admission letter and prospectus.
Potential students who are issued admission letter are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦25,000.00 which will be an advance payment of the total fee for the term.
Each candidate must attach photocopies of the following documents:
First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
Testimonial
Birth Certificate/Baptism Card
Current term report
Two (2) passport-size photograph ( which will be taken in the child’s former school uniform)
Medical Certificate of fitness (Medical report)

P.T.A EXCO

P.T.A EXCO stands for Parent-Teacher Association Executive Committee. The P.T.A is a committee whose members are mostly made up of parents who work together with school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. The P.T.A EXCO is the governing body that oversees the activities and programs of the P.T.A. They usually organize fundraisers, school events, and support the school administration in decision-making. The P.T.A EXCO is the driving force behind parent-teacher collaborations, bridging the gap between home and school. They make sure that the voices of parents are heard and that the interests of students are taken into consideration
